Data Deletion Instructions

You can remove your data from Kae Pilot in three ways, described below: disconnecting a single social account, deleting your entire Kae Pilot account, or removing Kae Pilot directly from Facebook's own settings. All three permanently erase the relevant access tokens and connected-account data — nothing is recoverable afterward.

Option 1 — Disconnect a single account

In your workspace, go to Settings → Connected Accounts, find the account, and choose Disconnect. This immediately deletes the stored access token for that account. Past posts and analytics already recorded in your workspace are kept unless you delete them separately, so your reporting history stays intact.

Option 2 — Delete your entire account

From Settings → Security → Your data, choose Delete account and confirm with your password (or, if you sign in with Google, by typing DELETE). This happens immediately rather than on a 30-day timer: your profile details are erased, and every workspace you own is deleted outright along with its posts, media, contacts, conversations and access tokens. Workspaces owned by other people are unaffected — you are simply removed from them. The same screen has Download my data if you want a copy first. Option 3 — Remove the app from Facebook directly

If you disconnect Kae Pilot from your Facebook account's own Settings → Apps and Websites page (rather than from inside Kae Pilot), Facebook automatically notifies us through a signed server-to-server request. We verify that request, then immediately and permanently delete every Facebook Page and Instagram account connected under that Facebook identity, across every workspace — you don't need to do anything else.

Checking the status of a Facebook-triggered deletion

Facebook gives you a confirmation code and a status link at the moment you remove the app. That link points to:

Since we process the deletion synchronously the moment the request arrives, this will already show completed by the time you check it.

What gets deleted

  • Encrypted OAuth access and refresh tokens for the account(s) removed.
  • The account's display name, avatar, and page/channel id stored in our database.
  • Any webhook or automation rules scoped only to that account.

Posts already published to the platform itself are not affected — deleting the connection in Kae Pilot does not retract content already live on Instagram, Facebook, or any other platform; remove that directly on the platform if needed.
